Purpose Of Grade-Level Teams
Grade-level teams work to identify struggling students by bringing together teachers from a common grade-level who share insights into a student's academic and personal life to find solutions for barriers to the student's learning. The goal in meeting is to identify and address root causes affecting student growth.
We meet once a week. If we agree that a student is struggling, we compile our shared knowledge to make a plan to address that student's needs. For each student we identify, we use a three week cycle to address the student's needs.
